Skimalong’s beautiful strip-built hull combines grace, speed, and stability. With a substantial beam of 28½″ (24½″ at the waterline), this boat allows paddlers to re-enter the cockpit from deep water without the aid of paddle-floats or other special gear (the colder the water, the faster the re-entry). Yet the round-bilged hull paddles as easily as many narrower hulls of cruder form.
