The success of the 7′7″ Nutshell Pram convinced us all that the same general shape and method of construction would work just as well in a larger boat; thus a bigger 9½′ Nutshell was created. With 2′ more length and 4″ more beam, she can carry a bigger load, hold more people, handle a proportionally larger sail, and has far more stability. Under oars or sail, she slides along every bit as well, and the added length increases her maximum speed with either means of propulsion.
