This shapely powerboat belies her relatively easy construction. Her bottom is planked with two layers of plywood for a good combination of fast building and complex shape. A wide chine built up of plywood eases the hard corner found on most vee-bottom boats into a narrow flat, and her topsides are strip-planked to allow graceful bow flare and tumblehome in the quarters. She employs only a few sawn frames in the bow sections to help define that shapely region; the majority of her framing runs longitudinally for a clean, easy-to-maintain interior.
