Although designer Fenwick C. Williams is best know for his exquisite cruising catboats, his 24′ Gaff Yawl has proven herself to be an unusually fine combination of all the factors making up a good boat. With outside ballast, short, balanced ends, and a generous freeboard, she is very seaworthy. Her rig is simple, making her easily handled. She’s roomy below and has lots of desk space. And she’s certainly sweet to look at.
