Eric Dow continues the construction of GLORIANA’s half model. He begins by marking and accurately cutting the profile, and follows with the intricate procedure of cutting the sheer line. Next up are the steps of carving, shaping, and fairing the hull. Eric also discusses how to make the keel assembly and how to attach a rudder.
The episode ends with discussions of finishing options, including paint, varnish, polyurethane, and lacquer. Thoughts on mounting the model are included.
